The digital phone service, free of traditional location constraints, makes phone numbers Puerto Rico and Hawaii available to anyone in the country with a broadband Internet connection.

This means that customers who want to establish a local presence in Puerto Rico or Hawaii can now do so. For example, if a company has offices in Puerto Rico and a branch office in New York, they can get a Puerto Rico Phone Number for the branch office and when people in Puerto Rico call the branch office, it will be charged as a local call.
