Logic Voice Makes Prestigious (212) Area Code Available to Entire Country
JAMAICA, NY (September 2, 2008) – Logic Voice Inc. today announced the immediate availability of phone numbers in the popular (212) New York City area code. The digital phone service, free of traditional location constraints, makes phone numbers in the (212) area code available to anyone in the country with a broadband Internet connection. The globally recognized and easily remembered numbers, difficult to obtain even in Manhattan, are now available to residential and small business consumers nationwide.
In 1999, with nearly all of the available (212) phone numbers exhausted, the (646) and (917) area codes were introduced to accommodate the growing demand caused by the increased number of cellular phones, fax machines and pagers.
